Assassins Creed 2 Xbox 360 Review
Assassin’s Creed 2
No Xbox 360 player will deny that Assassin’s Creed 2 is a great sequel to the original Assassin’s Creed game. In fact, some players will go so far as to say that it is far better than the original; and in a way, they are right. The developer of this game Ubisoft Montreal has successfully addressed all the flaws of the original Assassin’s Creed while developing a sequel to it.
Assassin’s Creed fans can therefore expect a better story line and a plot with the most intriguing twists and turns set in Renaissance Italy and injected with a generous dose of humour. While the original Assassin’s Creed story has a beginning and an end, Assassin’s Creed 2 leaves the tale open ended. The game begins exactly where the original left off with Desmond languishing in jail.
The best thing about Assassin’s Creed 2 is that, while retaining the best features of its predecessor, it includes additional features such as variety of combat and a greater range of choice.
The player assumes the role of the assassin; and the goal is to kill people and accomplish missions using a wide range of stealth tactics, devices, and climbing techniques. The most delightful feature of this game is its free climbing feature, allowing players to clamber over any surface with ease. The speed of movement that the game permits is breathtaking. The only drawback is that players cannot see properly over the rooftops, which results in more broken bones and injuries than a usual gun fight would.
